Dual interface pivCLASS reader with LCD

HID Global’s pivCLASS RKCL40 contact, plus contactless dual interface reader is suitable for use in security areas meeting the FIPS-201 criteria for both “Controlled” and “Limited” access. When used in conjunction with HID Global’s pivCLASS Authentication Module (PAM) or OSDP-compliant strong authentication controller infrastucture, the pivCLASS RKCL40 reader provides strong authentication ensuring that the card being presented is genuine; the data on the card has not been changed or manipulated; the card is not a copy or clone of another card; and the card has not been lost or stolen. When used in Card Authentication Key (CAK) mode, it supports reading any PIV-based card with a contactless interface and containing a CAK certificate. When used in PIV+PIN mode, the reader supports on-card-matching of a PIN, reading and validating the PIV Authentication Key certificate.

Key Features:

The dual interfaces of this reader provide a backup for cases when a card’s contactless antenna is broken. The CAK certificate can also be read using the contact interface
Configurable to operate in either Wiegand or strong authentication mode (PAM or third-party panel)
Dynamically switchable authentication modes (using PAM)
Supports reading legacy cards such as iCLASS, iCLASS SE and standard Prox

香港防盜（持牌主體傑成系統有限公司 KNS SYSTEM LTD）為門禁讀頭的安裝商及經銷商，保安牌照 1507、電業承辦商 029394。工作包括牆面開孔、走線、對接控制器（Wiegand／OSDP）。電鎖、出門掣及門磁通常接駁到控制器或 IO 模組，並非讀頭本身。保養包括清潔感應面、讀距及卡種核對。
