- Power off both the expander and control panel and set the DIP address on the expander before installation
- Using different device addresses for expander on MBUS
- The available device address for expander is from 1 to 253. The address 0,254 and 255 are not available
- Power on the expander before powering on the control panel
- Insure reliable ground connection for the shell of the expander
